Day School

Day School is a combination of daycare and school for your pup! It's ideal for those who want a boost to their dog's training, or those who want their dog to spend an enriching and educational day away from home. Perfect for busy owners or anyone looking for training touchups who want their pup to come home after a day of fun.
Day School is designed for our dogs to get an in depth day of fun and learning in an immersive home environment. A day at Day School includes:

Play time with appropriate dog friends

Time spent practicing manners around the house

Opportunities to practice manners around a cat and small child

Focused training sessions

Nap and enrichment times

A video sent to you at the end of the day going over your pups training for the day (plus fun photo updates throughout the day!)
Like our Board & Trains, Day School is held in our trainers home, which aides in transferring the training smoothly back into your home.
During our focused training sessions in Day School we work on skills that focus on:

Respecting gates and doors - no rushing through them

Settling skills - learning to be bored

Polite greetings with guests

Not stealing items from around the house

Counter surfing prevention, or fixing counter surfing if it's already started

Being comfortable being handled and groomed

Crate training or being comfortable being confined behind a gate or pen

Day School is open to dogs of all ages, but is especially helpful for our puppies and teenagers. To attend Day School dogs must not be aggressive towards other dogs, cats, or humans.
Day School is available Tuesdays through Thursdays with drop off between 8am and 10am and pickup between 5pm and 7pm. Pick up and delivery may be available for an additional charge.
