Private Lessons
Private Lessons are open to any dog of any age. These sessions are focused on teaching you how to be the best teammate for your dog and teaching you how to work directly with them. Private Lessons can address anything from puppyhood to reactivity and in between.
Get Started: Initial Consultation
$140
We always begin with an initial consultation. This consultation is where we discuss what you are wanting to work on with your dog, outline a training plan, and decide what services are the best fit for you and your dog. The Initial Consultation typically lasts 60 - 90 minutes.
Follow Up Lesson
$125
After your Initial Consultation, private lessons will be about an hour per session. Each session we will work together to get you closer to your goals with your dog.
Day School
Day School is pretty much what it sounds like, a combination of daycare and school for your pup! It is ideal for those who want to take a little of the heavy lifting of raising a dog off their plate, but aren't able to commit to sending their pup away for a few weeks. Or those who want to have their dog spend an enriching and educational day away from home.

How It Works
Day School is designed for our dogs to get an in depth day of fun and learning in an immersive home environment. A day at Day School includes:

Play time with appropriate dog friends

Time spent practicing manners around the house

Practicing manners around a cat

Focused training sessions working on basic obedience and life skills

Nap and enrichment times

A video sent to you at the end of the day going over your pups training for the day (plus fun photo updates throughout the day!)
Like our Board & Trains, Day School is held in our trainers home, which aides in transferring the training smoothly back into your home.

Day School is open to dogs of all ages, but is especially helpful for our puppies and teenagers. To attend Day School dogs must not be aggressive or reactive.
​
Day School is available Tuesdays through Thursdays with drop off between 8am and 10am and pickup between 5pm and 7pm. Pick up and delivery may be available for an additional charge.

Board & Train
Our Board & Train dogs spend their stay learning and living in our trainers home. We offer these programs to dogs throughout the DMV area and are happy to offer transportation either the full distance, or meeting halfway. Our program goals are fully customizable for each individual dog and stay. Just tell us where you want to go!

All Board & Train programs include an in depth initial consultation before your pups stay, transfer lessons at your home after the stay to make sure that everything they learn comes back home, training update videos delivered throughout the stay, and a detailed written recap with access to instructional handouts and videos for all skills learned.
​
We recommend two or three week stays, but custom length stays are available.

Smart Start Puppy - Dogs 8 months and under
Puppy programs primarily focus on teaching our puppies how to function in the human world! We work on crate training, house training, socialization, confidence, being able to settle around the house and be bored, as well as the building blocks for our obedience behaviors. We aim to take two field trips per week with our puppies aimed at creating positive interactions with the world and socializing them.

The goals for our programs are customizable but generally in our puppy program we will work on:

We may also begin other skills depending on the specific pups progress and length of stay. The longer the stay, the more stuff we can work on!

Tutoring
Sometimes training is just exhausting and you just don't have the energy for it that you want to have. That's okay! We are here to help. In tutoring sessions our trainer comes to your home and works one on one with your dog in the areas where you need them to be trained, on the skills you are working on with them. Tutoring sessions can be scheduled to either be in your home and neighborhood, or out and about in the world.

Tutoring sessions are available Tuesdays through Thursdays between 9am and 2pm. After each tutoring session you will receive a training video of highlights from your pups training session so that you can follow along at home with your training. You will also receive instructional handouts for all new skills your pup learns.
It is recommended to do private lessons alongside your tutoring sessions to make sure you are getting the most of out of them, but it is not required.

In the Neighborhood tutoring sessions are a great fit for pretty much anything you might want to work on! These sessions may be inside your home (as long as you are comfortable), in your yard, or wandering around your neighborhood.

This is a great starting point for all dogs, including our baby puppies, and a great fit for our reactive dogs.
​
These sessions naturally build towards Out & About sessions, where we can really start taking our pups skills on the road.
​
In The Neighborhood sessions are scheduled for an hour of training time.

Not sure where to start?
Boarding
If you are just looking for somewhere comfy and fun for your pup to stay, but you don't feel like you need a full Board & Train, we can do that too!
​
Our boarding pups stay in our trainers home just like our Board & Train dogs, they just don't get the dedicated training time or field trips. Boarding dogs sleep in cozy crates, get to play with appropriate friends all day, get chews and other enrichment items throughout the day, play in the backyard (sometimes with a doggie pool!), and get cuddles on the couch. Basically, they become a member of our family while they are here!

If you think your dog would enjoy a quick training session, or you have a small skill you'd like to work on, add on training is available. As are add on hikes! We have a great park with a creek near our home that is a lot of fun to explore on a long line.
​
Boarding is only open to dogs 8 months and older. For our puppies under 8 months a Board & Train is required since they do require extra care with house training and general manners.
